A little piece of Amador City history has a beautiful new chapter! ✨ On October 9, our community gathered to celebrate a very special occasion! The official ribbon cutting and reopening of the historic Amador City Schoolhouse!

Dating back to 1857, this beloved landmark has been part of our little town’s story for generations. And thanks to the dedication, hard work and care of so many, its history continues!

It was wonderful to see neighbors, community members and local partners come together to celebrate this milestone and the preservation of a place that holds so much history.

A heartfelt thank you to the City of Amador, everyone involved in bringing this restoration to life and all who joined us for this special day. ❤️

Here’s to honoring our past, celebrating our present and making room for new memories in Amador City!

For nearly 170 years, the Amador City Schoolhouse has stood as a place for learning, gathering and community. After the 2023 fire and an extensive restoration, its doors are opening once again and we’d love for you to be there as we celebrate its next chapter.

Join us for the Amador City Schoolhouse Ribbon Cutting Ceremony on Friday, October 9 at 12:00 PM at 14531 East School Street, Amador City.

Come celebrate the reopening of this beloved historic landmark, reconnect with neighbors and be part of a moment that honors both where we’ve been and where we’re going.

Oh, there you are, fall. 🍂🎃 Amador City is officially dressed for the season, with pumpkins, cornstalks and all the little touches that make our historic town feel extra charming this time of year.

A heartfelt thank you to the wonderful group of volunteers who spent their time decorating Amador City for our community and visitors to enjoy. It’s these thoughtful details and the people behind them that make our little town so special. 🤎

It may still feel a little warm outside, but fall has most definitely arrived in Amador City. Come wander through town this weekend, admire the decorations, support our local businesses and soak up a little autumn magic with us. 🍁
