Celebrate the day with friends at the Amasa Museum. May 25th 2026, about 10AM after the cemetery services, volunteers will be serving brats, hot dogs, chips and pop. Tour the museum and learn our history. Ticket sales for the July 4th raffle drawing will begin, too! This a substantial fundraiser for the musum. We hope to see you here!

Celebrate Amasa's Heritage Day & Memorial Day May 26, 2025.
After the cemetery services (about 10AM) come to the museum!
There will Brats, Hot Dogs, chips, water and pop. Raffle tickets will be sold for the 4th of July drawing. Come explore exhibits & support the Amasa Museum. This is always a fun day with neighbors, friends and visitors!

"AMASA—-Santa will visit the Amasa Hematite Fire Hall Saturday, Dec. 14 at 5 p.m. Riding in on a fire truck. Kids will have a chance to let Santa know what they want for Christmas.
The Albino Webber Scholarship Committee is hosting this event having a BAKE SALE fundraiser. The fire hall is located in downtown Amasa."

Update: 5:30 to 6:30pm

Annual Halloween party sponsored by Amasa Fire Department and Amasa Museum will be held Thursday, 10/31/24 from 5:30pm-6:30pm at the Amasa Museum. Money prizes for costume contest and treats with hot chocolate will be at the party. All ages are welcome.

The Amasa Historical Society will be hosting our annual Heritage Days in at the museum on May 27, 2024. A flag raising ceremony commemorating hometown veterans will be held.

This is also the grand opening of the museum for the summer. After the celebration at the cemetery, take a tour of the museum and see what new items have been added.

Raffle tickets will be available to support the museum with the drawing on July 4.

Come in for food, fun & friendship remembering Memorial Day in Amasa and celebrating our heritage.

HALLOWEEN PLANS FOR AMASA

On Tuesday, October 31, the Amasa Historical Society and the Amasa Volunteer Fire Dept. will host a party at the museum starting at 5:30 p.m. There will be bags of candy, bags of fresh popcorn, hot dogs, cupcakes, and hot chocolate. A costume contest with prizes will be included.

Trick or treating throughout the town of Amasa is scheduled from 4 pm to 5:30 p.m.
