“A Look of Awe at the Bayfield Ice Caves” Photo by Mike Crowley
I wanted to share with everyone some of the photos that I took, but it was hard to make a choice of which one to use first.
As I was getting ready to take a photo of this ice formation and cave, this little boy walked into my photo and stopped, and turned, and looked at the ice formations in awe. It was the same way I was looking at them, and he made the choice for me as to which photo to use first, because it says it all without any words.

The only way you can get to these ice formations, and ice caves at Bayfield Wisconsin is when Lake Superior freezes solid. Then you walk on a mile trail on the ice to these ice formations on frozen Lake Superior. The last time that happened was in the year 2009. That is why this was so special for us to be able to go to this amazing place and photograph it and share it with all of you.
