Save the date for the Carriagetown Car Show at the new Munters Campus. Thanks to the Rust Rods for organizing the 2026 event!

After 10 incredible years in downtown Amesbury, the Carriagetown Car Show is entering a new chapter.

Following last year’s event, the original Carriagetown Car Show committee made the decision to step away from organizing the show. We’re grateful for the years of support, community spirit, and amazing cars that made this event so special.

We’re excited to share that the show will continue under new leadership! The Rust Rods, a local car club, are taking over and carrying the tradition forward. Please note that this is a different organization, with a new team behind the scenes.

There are a couple of important changes to be aware of:
The show will no longer be held in downtown Amesbury. This year’s show will be held at Munters, 14 South Hunt Road.

While things will look a little different, the heart of the show remains the same. The Rust Rods are committed to keeping this a charitable event, with proceeds supporting great local organizations including the Amesbury Carriage Museum, Our Neighbor’s Table, and Greenstone Gives.

We’re excited to see this beloved event continue to grow and evolve, and we hope you’ll join in supporting the new team as they carry the tradition forward!

Stay tuned for more details from The Rust Rods — and thank you for being part of the Carriagetown Car Show community. Make sure to like their new page for incoming news and announcements!

THURSDAY, MAY 7 AT THE AMESBURY INDUSTRIAL HISTORY CENTER

Led by local artist Cheryl Desjardin. Learn the basics of Eco-printing with ingredients straight from the kitchen. In this workshop, participants will use onion skins on pre-mordanted, tea-dyed fabric to create their own one-of-a-kind cotton bandanna. Although this technique uses ordinary ingredients you have in your kitchen, the results are extraordinary!
