At The Gallery…Meet Our Juror.

We are beyond honored and thrilled to have of as our Juror for the Coastlines to Treelines show!!🩷✨ 🌲 🌊 🩷

A lifelong artist inspired by New England landscapes, Robin brings both a maker’s sensitivity and a gallerist’s perspective to the jury process. From the beauty of her vast skies to the ever-changing light of her marshes, Robin’s work is rooted in observation, curiosity, and a deep appreciation for place and peace. She captures the magic of New England in a way that speaks to the soul and grounds you in the moment, a moment…present.

As the owner of Thornhill Art Gallery, she stands on both sides of the art world—creator and curator—making her insight especially meaningful for this exhibition.

We can’t wait to see the show through her eyes. 🎨

ONLY TWELVE DAYS left to submit your art!!

In Her Own Words…
I cannot remember a time when I wasn’t drawing or painting. Art is woven into my sense of self, and it is in the act of creating that I find myself most at peace.

I worked as an oil painter for years but have transitioned to mainly acrylic work embracing the fast-drying quality of the medium. I find that it complements my temperament as I am able to continuously add, change, take away, glue and layer, layer, layer!” MZ

Only FOUR days left to see a magnificent show—Shared Spaces. Trades Mill is open seven days a week 9-5pm. We are an open space on second floor—come check us out!

In Her Own Words…

“Over the past several years, I have been painting birds. I have a love of portraiture as well and recently started combining the two elements.

I love working on big canvas, using rich, vibrant colors and whimsical compositions.” SW

This painting brings joy to one’s soul when viewing. It’s whimsical yet executed beautifully with colors, values and edges. A gem.

This is the final week to view Shared Spaces.
If you haven’t gone, grab a friend and do yourself a favor—go see some art in person!

At The Gallery…CALL FOR ART.

Our gallery is a community space on the 2nd floor of a beautifully renovated historic building in Amesbury, MA.

Light filters through the huge windows, creative energy buzzes in the walls and halls of all the creative businesses that fill the 1st and 2nd floors and the collective understanding that “the earth without art is meh” abounds.

It’s a space worthy of amazing art, emerging and established artists as well as visitors who appreciate the importance of creativity in this world.

We are less than a month away from the submission deadline for our 2nd Call for Art: Coastlines to Treelines. We have received some amazing work so far!

In Her Own Words…
“I believe in artists inspiring artists. I incorporate learning with my artistic practice. My work is cyclical, it is born out of a combination of my education, experiences and those I educate.

I am Chair of the Arts at Brooks School ( ) in North Andover, MA, a visual arts teacher and also Director of the Robert Lehman Art Center and Gallery.

Working with students and other artists allows for my perspectives as an artist to grow and expand while fusing traditional and contemporary. My art is about identity, perspective, and some subtle humor.

I am drawn to the landscape and environment. My work is primarily painting and photography, but I also create wearable art inspired by the same muse—my view.

Aesthetically obsessed, I am intentionally finding myself in beautiful and inspiring locations. With this I create.” BW

Show closes in a little over a week on Saturday April 25th. A beautifully inspiring exhibit—if you haven’t seen it, be sure to pop into the gallery community space!
