Dear Clay Arts Guild Members & Friends,

I hope you all had a wonderful summer! It’s time to kick off our fall season, and I’d love for you to join us for our first meeting of the year tomorrow, Tuesday, September 9, from 7:00–8:30 PM at the Subway office. If you are not on our email list, PM me for the address.

This meeting will focus on planning for our two big fall events:

“Fall in Love with Clay” – our group show at the Girdwood Center for Visual Arts, running through October 2025.

Annual Fall Sale & Silent Auction – scheduled for Saturday, November 1st at Bell’s Nursery.

Both events are wonderful opportunities to share our work with the community, and I’ll need to know who plans to participate in each. Your involvement is key to making these shows successful!

If someone would like to share a new skill (or an old one) as a demo after tomorrow's meeting (or anytime this year), please let me know.

I’m excited to see you all, catch up after the summer, and start shaping another creative season together.

Say hello to Lynne Jablonski, , our current ACAG President. Lynne's passion for clay began in 2002, and she's constantly inspired by its creative possibilities. Whether exploring new glaze combinations or shaping pieces by hand, Lynne's work reflects her curiosity and love for the craft. After studying ceramics at the University of Alaska Anchorage, Lynne continues to grow as an artist. Her goal is to share pieces that bring joy and beauty into daily life.
