We have a new fundraiser this year — a Peach Cobbler Social. Everyone is invited to gather at Three Nations Brewing Co. from 1:00 to 4:00 to sample home made peach cobbler from bakers in Anna and the surrounding area.
Whose peach cobbler is the best? That will be determined at this fun event. There will also be a raffle, prizes, and other activities.
So dig out your best recipe and enter our contest to see if yours is the best peach cobbler in Anna. All it takes is $10 to enter your creation and maybe even earn a cash prize.
We'll have a panel of impartial judges to officially determine the best in Anna. But the judges aren't the only ones who'll get to sample these delicious desserts. Anyone buying a ticket will be given cups to taste several samples of their own choosing and automatically be entered into our raffle.
Three Nations Brewing is at the corner of Powell Parkway (Texas Hwy 5) and Fourth St. Children may attend but must be accompanied by an adult.
Details will be posted as the date approaches, but comment here or contact the Anna Historical Preservation Society with any questions.

Don’t forget to join us at the Collin County History Museum for America250!, an inspiring exhibit hosted by the Daughters of the American Revolution—John Abston Chapter, NSDAR.

The exhibit will be open to the public from May 29 through July 5, and will be available for viewing on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM

Here are some picture taken yesterday in celebrating Collin McKinney Day.
The festivities began earlier this week with the mayors of Anna and Van Alstyne proclaiming Saturday, April 12, 2025 to be Collin McKinney Day.
Yesterday morning several speakers took to the lectern at city hall to address attendees. Van Alstyne then hosted several events in the afternoon, and the day concluded with a fun evening of bingo at 3 Nations Brewing.
