As a museum dedicated to preserving and sharing the Annapolis area’s rich maritime heritage, today is a special opportunity to reflect on the stories, industries, and communities that shaped life along the Chesapeake Bay.

Looking for something to do this Memorial Day Weekend? Come celebrate National Maritime Day with us at the museum. Explore our exhibits and learn about the Chesapeake Bay’s ecology and maritime heritage. We will be open on Monday for the holiday weekend.

The 2nd Annual Chesapeake Catfish Cook-Off was a tremendous success! More than just a fundraiser, this event helps raise awareness about the invasive blue catfish impacting the Chesapeake Bay while celebrating the region’s incredible culinary talent.
