ALL HANDS ON DECK!
This week kicks off the inaugural renovation project of the Apalachicola Maritime Museum.
October 2022 will mark 4 years since AMM has sustained devastating damages from Hurricane Michael, leaving the infrastructure in ruins.

All AMM staff has decided to roll up their sleeves and join together to get back into full operations.
Many projects such as preserving exhibits, cleaning, dry wall, painting and creating new & exciting displays.

This month’s engine test went exceptionally well in Green Cove Springs, FL aboard the Samuel Floyd Paddle wheel.
We also have a couple of grants for the Apalachicola Maritime Museum infrastructure restoration in process and planning to be in full swing of renovations in the year 2021. We will keep you up to date on all rebuilding progress.
The new website will be launching before the end of the year. Stay tuned and know that we miss all of our salts dearly.

Many of our great supporters have asked, "How can we help?" And for a really long time those sentiments alone were what we needed to keep us pressing forward.
Reluctantly, we have decided that we can not do it alone and we do need our communities help. We have made a link in our webstore if you would like to make donations to our recovery.

We will be making detailed post to keep you updated on our progress.

October 2018, Hurricane Michael made land fall onto the Floridian Panhandle. Hurricane Michael was rated a CAT 5 and has been noted as the 3rd most intense hurricane to touch American soil since 1935. Hurricane Michael was estimated at destroying over 25.1 billion dollars in property.
