And a good time was had by all.... thank you everyone who came out for Gill Autrey's Spanish guitar recital on both Wednesday and Thursday afternoons. Each performance was intended for a small audience with lots of interaction, and of course - storytelling - which made for a unique experience each afternoon.

The icing on the cake was the opportunity to view photographs by Lane Autrey on the surrounding walls of the gallery, while classical guitar music filled the room. Many of her photographs of Apalachicola and surrounding waters, record a time and a place that is difficult if not impossible to find today.

If you missed it, then you missed a wonderful concert; but it's not too late to see Lane's photography. The show is on view through April 18. Much appreciation to Gill and Lane for sharing their talents with us. 🐦✨

Words & Music with Gill Autrey accompanied by
A Show of Photographs by Lane Autrey...

Please join us at Live Oak Gallery on Wednesday, April 8th
from 4-6 p.m. when accomplished classical guitarist, Gill Autrey, will play a selection of his favorite Spanish guitar compositions. He'll tell us a little bit about each one, and you can be sure he will add a few surprises along the way to make us smile.

Come hear Gill's musical artistry in a cozy informal setting that will feature a treat you won't want to miss: photographs by locally-inspired photographer, Lane Autrey.

Lane's beautiful images can be found as notecards in some of the finest shops & restaurants around town. Here's your chance to see them in a larger format, as well as others coming out of the archives, that reflect over twenty years of capturing the rhythms of Apalachicola and it's coastal waterways.

Don't miss this afternoon of music, art and friends.
Light refreshments will be served.
Space is limited; so if you plan to attend, please contact the gallery to reserve your seat.
