Join us at Appleton Public Library on Thursday, July 23 at 6 pm for a special event with former NFL player and author Dr. George Koonce Jr., discussing his book Is There Life After Football? Surviving the NFL.

A Super Bowl ###I champion with the Green Bay Packers, Dr. Koonce will share powerful insights on the challenges athletes face after leaving professional sports—including career change, identity, and life beyond the game.

Whether you're a football fan, interested in sports culture, or curious about the human stories behind professional athletics, this engaging discussion will provide a deeper understanding of what happens when the cheering stops and a new chapter begins.

After the program, attendees are invited to tour the football exhibit at the Appleton History Museum, located at 231 W. Franklin St.
