Sketchbook count with me 👀
How many do you think I actually have? 😂

POV: you go to count your sketchbooks thinking you have maybe 6 or 7… then suddenly you’re questioning every life decision 😂📚

Do I judge myself a little? Yes.

Will that stop me from buying more when they’re on sale? Absolutely not 😌✨

Because let’s be real — deals are deals and you can NEVER be too prepared for the random 2am creative motivation 🎨🖊️

Every single time I walk into Michaels for “just one thing,” they hit me with the Buy 1 Get 2 Free canvas deal and suddenly I’m leaving with enough canvases to start 12 new paintings or more like 39🤦🏼‍♀️ 😂🎨
Tell me I’m not the only artist who gets completely sucked into this deal every time?? 👀
Like… it feels illegal to walk past it without stocking up.
How many blank canvases do you currently have waiting for inspiration? Be honest 😂👇

3 of 3 Teacher Appreciation gifts for my youngest son’s daycare teachers are finally complete! 🍎✨

I’m officially done creating gifts for all the wonderful teachers in my family’s life, and I truly couldn’t be more grateful for everything they do for our kiddos every single day 💕

Teachers deserve to feel appreciated not just this week, but all year long! If you have a special teacher in your life and would love a custom end-of-the-year gift, feel free to reach out to me 😊🎨

2 of 3 Teacher Appreciation gifts are officially done for my youngest’s daycare teachers! 🍎✨

I accidentally recorded this in normal speed instead of time lapse… sooo please enjoy these few seconds because we all know nobody wants to sit through a 58-minute video 😂 I even spared everyone from hearing me sing along to my playlist while painting.

So thankful for teachers who love our little ones like their own 💕

Just finished up 1 of 3 teacher appreciation gifts for my youngest son’s daycare teachers 💛🎨

This piece took me THROUGH it 😂 My vision changed so many times while making it, and honestly… I still think it needs a little cheetah print 👀🐆 But for now, I’m gonna sleep on it and call it a night.

Creating while second-guessing yourself is part of the process 😅 Can’t wait to finish the other two!

What are your thoughts… does it need the cheetah print or should I leave it how it is? 👀✨

I’ve been working on something really special this week 🎨✨

In honor of Teacher Appreciation Week, I’m creating a series of paintings dedicated to the incredible educators who inspire, support, and shape us every single day. Each piece is made with so much gratitude and intention—because teachers truly deserve to be celebrated in a meaningful way.

These paintings are my way of saying thank you for the patience, the encouragement, and the impact that lasts far beyond the classroom 💛

I’ll be sharing the finished pieces soon, so stay tuned! And if there’s a teacher who’s made a difference in your life, tag them or drop a ❤️ below to show them some love.

Sketches don’t have to be perfect… that’s literally the point 😄

They’re just quick ideas, messy lines, and “let’s see what happens” moments. No pressure, no overthinking — just getting something out of your head and onto the page.

Some sketches will be weird. Some won’t work. Some might turn into something awesome later.

It’s all part of the process.

So don’t stress about making it look good. Just sketch, play around, and see where it goes ✏️

Working on this dog painting has been… a lesson in patience 😅
It’s been slow, frustrating at times, and definitely not coming together as quickly as I imagined. I keep having to remind myself (over and over) that I’m not a robot—I’m not going to recreate the reference photo perfectly, and that’s completely fine.
Realism isn’t my specialty, and honestly, it doesn’t have to be. This piece is about learning, experimenting, and letting it evolve in its own way. And little by little, it is coming together.
Progress isn’t always pretty, but it’s still progress 🐾🎨

From rough sketch to base paint… it’s not always pretty, and honestly, it’s rarely clean. But that messy, in-between stage? That’s where the magic happens.

Watching something completely unrecognizable slowly come to life is the best part of the process 🎨

Trust the chaos. It always turns into something worth it.
