The American Civil War Museum - Appomattox

The Museum is a privately owned and operated non-profit. While we share our Tredegar site with the National Park Service, our locations are open as normal. The Museum is a great place to bring out-of-town family and guests to show them a piece of our nation’s history.

Due to the weather conditions, all Museum sites are closed today. Please be safe!

From now until February 28, the Museum will be open Thursday - Sunday from 10am - 4pm with the exception of December 24 - January 6, during which the Museum will be open daily. The Museum will also be open on January 21 and February 18.

As we’ve done the past, we are closed Christmas and New Years Day.
