“I Wonder Who . . . these women are? Both women have wavy hair, and one poses in an off-the-shoulder dress, and the other wears a tartan dress buttoned to her neck, a torn straw hat with flowers and one chin ribbon is missing. Are these photographs of the same woman?

“I Wonder Who . . . these women are and why are they posing with their hands behind their heads and in a line? The women are wearing high-collar dresses with mutton-chop sleeves that were popular in the 1890s. Two of the dresses are adorned with lace, and the other with very fine bead work. The woman in the foreground is wearing tartan. Why the unusual pose? Are they related to each other?
