STM Rapid Transit Dept. The department is run by volunteers, and we are always looking for more to join our team!

The interior of 1927 Osgood Bradley Cambridge/Dorchester car 0719. This is only one of four cars that were modernized in 1948 with upholstered seats and fluorescent lighting in anticipation of the South Shore expansion that came in 1971, almost a decade after the last of these cars were retired in 1963. We also have an original as built car 0753.

Lots of work has been done to the car by a small group of volunteers, the car has been cleaned out, wiped down and partially repainted. One of these days we’ll get it finished.
