Recently it was my sweet husbands brithday 🎂

I made him a watercolor birthday card of our adventures chasing the Aurora Borealis across our home in WA state.

I've been in my studio creating original art greeting cards for a few months now. I really love the idea of being able to share creativity with functional art pieces for every day life!

Please be patient with me over these next few weeks while I pause a little bit on new pieces as I navigate a cross country move and get settled into my new space just outside of Seattle WA in Mid June!

Back at it this morning 🎨🖌

After a LONG break to regroup, refocus and recooperare from some health concerns and worries that started back in September/October (all is well and all tests came back clear) i am back in my Studio!

Prepping for our summer travels/plans/transition as the very first buds are opening and coming to life up in these high mountains of Appalachia.

Silence is golden right now as we figure out how to navigate this next journey of our life. Transitions into new places, new spaces and new adventures is always tricky ground and often we have to just jump without knowing exactly which direction we will even land or how it will workout.

This doesnt mean we dont have plans or goals, but also life will at times rearrange itself despite our best efforts. Silly humans we are thinking we are in control of every little thing.

FLOW is the word of the year so far and i suspect this theme will continue. Im here for it and have a wonderful support system of friends and loved ones that we work together towards whatever life is throwing our way.
