Hope you're all enjoying the first "snow day" of the year.
Wanted to share my first painting of the year 🖤
My goals for this year, regarding my artwork- are to continue growing, learning, and push myself out of my comfort zone. To remind myself that, while this is my job and how I provide for my daughter and I, that it was a passion first- and to remember to think of it as such. This is when my creations come out the best. To remember my worth and not short myself.
I'm also super excited to say that I will be working some with the incredible Maryanne Pappano, combining our two artforms to put out some amazing, next level pieces!
I hope to create for many of you this year!

Red is typically my enemy when it comes to fluid art. Was inspired by another fluid artist to step out of my comfort zone with this one. And I somewhat surprisingly love it. Of course the photo doesn't really do justice and the colors are going to dry deeper and she will get a coat of resin for a vibrancy and glow ✨️ 16x20 level 1 canvas $110

Real human honesty time- The last month has been hard. I have been juggling depression, a sick toddler, trying to expand/keep my career going, and all the normal life things.. Being an artist for a living is hard. Because when times are slow, you take it personally. Even though I know, logically, there's plenty of other factors. But that's just how it makes you feel. Regulardless, I'm pushing through and trying new things- determined to continue growing. Both in life and art.
All this to say, I've hit a time where I'm needing support, hope, and....to clear put space for all the new ideas I plan to get out on the canvas 🖤

The first Geode is officially DONE!!
(Okay, well I still have to touch up the edges/back of the board..but the painting itself) its so hard to capture the true beauty of artwork through a lens, resin is EXTRA hard due to how reflective it is. But I can assure you, she's gorgeous 😍
