At AMOS we use WNC’s cultural heritage of textile arts to explore the science of climate change!

In Our Changing World, visitors have created thousands of data quilt blocks that make up our climate change dataset.

Each quilt tile is colored in differently based on climate change indicator questions from our friends at NCICS.

Putting the “A” in STEAM is not only essential to learning, but it’s just another way that we can showcase what makes WNC so special.

We’re rolling out two special scavenger hunts this summer!

These hunts are a collaboration between our Exhibits and EDU departments. By completing them for prizes you’re also conducting real life science research on how we should grow our exhibits in 2026!
