Ooh La La's Holiday Bazaar is a continuation of the Curiosity Market that took place this Summer in Pritchard Park, located in the center of beautiful downtown Asheville. Ooh La La's Holiday Bazaar will feature works by local painters, leather smiths, jewelry makers, potters,up-cycled crafters, and other curious delights, all beneath the colored canopies of large market umbrellas. In addition to t

I design wearable and usable art. I have been creating art my entire life. Right now I am loving creating one of a kind pieces made from a variety of mediums and bringing new life into antique and vintage supplies... transforming them into newfangled-vintage creations. Markets are my outlet of choice. Being a local girl, born in Bat Cave, NC and raised in Asheville, I wanted to create a unique intimate avenue for myself as well as other local artists to thrive in, right in the heart of Downtown Asheville. I create "One of a Kind " Mixed media sculptures using a combination of traditional and self taught techniques . I create these
pieces with mixed medias including found and recycled objects and some traditional art supplies also . Each piece starts off as picture in my head and i travel a long road of many detailed steps to bring the art peice to life. For the outdoor market i am debuting my new series called "Butterfly kisses " I was given a box of butterfly and moth wings from

Kari Kukie- "Peace Asheville" Notecards and Prints
This is a side project that William(Hunter) and I did in December and January durring our off show season . It is a project we call "Peace Asheville"
We came up with a Hand Illustrated water color of Asheville which is inside a peace sign as a lasting tribute to all who live and visit these
magical mountains. We have notecards and prints and our goal is that at each event we sell these at 50% of the proceeds goes to what ever charity we are vending at . We just did the prison books benefit at the bywater . But since William and I do our our own art this was a way we could help give back to the community . Check it out on facebook "Peace Asheville"
