The needs across WNC are vast. If everyone gives what they can where they feel moved to do so, many many needs can be met. The searchers are searching, the supply chains are supplying, the volunteers are volunteering - all over the area. It's incredible to be a part of it all. If you feel called to donate, here are the local organizations we will be volunteering with and donating to as we are able. In addition we continue to support the Riverview Station cleanup effort and save the largest building in the River Arts District. There are so many needs, but people ARE coming together to contribute in whatever ways they can and that's how we will all get through this.
Peter has a small business which supports our family. He is an artist who lost his materials, his space to make work, and much of his cherished inventory. Most people in the area are working to get their feet under them, while also volunteering out in the community. We are in that same boat.
