Dear MMAA Members,
It has been almost 10 years since Mid-Missouri Arts Alliance opened the little art gallery in Ashland. During that time, we have enjoyed meeting new friends and long-time friends at the classes and events you have helped sustain with your memberships. However, due to the sale of the building and other contributing factors, the time has come to close the gallery.
We thank you very much for your support, which has been so important to the success of this small business venture. Since renting the building in February 2016, the work has all been accomplished by volunteer members, including many of you. The doors of the gallery will officially close December 31, 2025, when the building must be empty and ready for the new owner to inspect the space. All art must be picked up no later than the 27th of the month. Also, we want you to know that in accordance with our ByLaws, the assets left after all financial obligations have been met, will be donated to another 501(c)3 organization(s).
If you have time, please come by for a final visit to the gallery before we close. Again, our heart-felt thanks for your support for what we hope will be remembered as a valued asset to the community."
