That’s a wrap on 2020! Thank you to the galleries, artists, and virtual visitors who made this year’s all-online edition such a success. Need more time to explore the show? We invite you to continue browsing on Artsy through August 22: https://www.artsy.net/intersect-aspen-2020

Pictured: Artist Emeka Udemba explores the intersection of images and structures as a means of gaining deeper insight into how identity and culture affect our sense of collective consciousness. His work investigates imaginary worlds and rethinks the boundaries of the archetypal.

Daily Silent Auction • Today’s selection comes from Nancy Hoffman Gallery. It is a triptych by artist Don Eddy that captures the magic of nature and light.

Nancy Hoffman Gallery: “From the vistas through the leaves at the top to the stream on the bottom, light plays in different patterns and recalls the splendors of nature in Aspen, and reminds us that life’s experiences cannot be captured in one image only, the three panels are a celebration of the fullness of nature; the fullness of nature in Aspen is One Thing for us to Look Forward to in the future.”

2020 kicks off today, and with it comes our daily silent auction, One Thing, which will feature exclusive content to raise money for local and regional beneficiaries.

Today's theme is "One Thing to Celebrate," and Richard Levy Gallery celebrates inclusivity with this silkscreen from the series “Feel Good Paintings For Feel Bad Times”, in which Deborah Kass uses phrases from pop culture to invoke a time when anything seemed possible. This work sends a timely and empowering message, and we are thrilled to share it with you today: https://www.art-aspen.com/auction-wednesday

Partners include: The Art Base, Aspen Films, Carbondale Arts, The Center for African American Health, and Valley Settlement.
