Wanna be a DRAWN and a part of my next project? I’m looking for people from Appalachia who have struggled with addiction, poverty, or any struggle. If you can argue you struggled with a major problem in your life, then you can be a part of this project.

How it’d work:
I would interview you and you’d tell me your life story. I would then draw you, and you would send me a body of text however long or however short you’d like. This text would be displayed next to the artwork. Comment and share if interested! I need at least 5 people and open to much more!

Art as Grief. This series is a critical documentation of sojourn. In times of intense emotion, destitution, and loss, how do we utilize art as a tool to grieve? Is the art we create a physical representation of that loss, or is it rather a manifestation of what we need to fill the hole of what has left?

This invitation-only exhibition will be on display summer 2026 showing the full series of prints.

My favorite painting fell off the wall today and chipped. It’s an emotional rollercoaster right now. Unsure what direction I will go with it from here, but I’m asking myself these questions: is this now a part of the work, should I cover up the chip, what is the chip adding to the work (if anything)?
It’s hard having a piece that you see as a reflection of your soul almost disintegrate in an instant, but hey, that’s art for ya.
