The Jamaican Museum and Cultural Center celebrates the Honorable Robert Nesta Marley for his timeless wisdom displayed in the prophetic lyrics of his songs.

Today, we celebrate the life and legacy of the Honourable Robert Nesta “Bob” Marley, one of Jamaica’s most influential cultural icons and a global ambassador for our music and message.

Through his lyrics, Bob Marley challenged injustice, promoted love, and inspired people across the world to stand firm in their dignity and rights.

His message remains deeply relevant today, reminding us to rise above our challenges and to work together in building a more just and compassionate society.

Decades after his passing, Bob’s music continues to reach new generations, strengthening Jamaica’s cultural impact on the global stage.

We remain proud of his contribution to our nation and to humanity.

One love. One heart, let’s get together and feel alright.

Congratulations to Kaznamdi on winning the Grammy for Best Reggae Album during Reggae Month and Black History Month.

Congratulations to Keznamdi on winning the 2026 Grammy Award for Best Reggae Album. It is a blessing to see the next generation of Jamaica’s musical talent stepping up with quality songwriting, arrangements and production, and being recognized internationally for their creative achievements.

On a personal level, I can well imagine the positive energy that Keznamdi’s parents, Kerida and Errol, are feeling, having played such an instrumental role in his musical development.

Well done to Lila Iké, Vybz Kartel, Mortimer, and Jesse Royal for their nominations.

This is a great platform for achieving even more wonderful things! Keep the fire burning! 🔥
