"This South not the Other" refers to my images I shoot here in our South. So very different from where I grew up in South Africa. The stark contrast and totally different landscape appeals to me. Using Infrared film captures the essence of the area in such an unusual way, giving it a softness that is so much part of what I try to achieve in my work.

Showing the creativity of so many people around us that has sprung from one of our worst infectious diseases that has come to the USA in modern times. 
 
I find it so fascinating to see the amazing projects and creative ideas that have come in to our lives on every level.  So many of these ideas that have become the “New normal”   go unnoticed.  Masking tape used to express social distancing has taken on a new meaning in our local coffee shop.  The lines and colors of the tape stuck to the floor make beautiful patterns to keep us all 6 feet apart.
