The First Gaze: Parvati Beholds Shanmukha 🙏🏻

My humble attempt to portray a divine moment where Maa Parvati beholds her son—Shanmukha, the six-faced embodiment of cosmic brilliance. Born of Shiva’s fiery essence and nurtured by the sacred waters, the child reveals himself in six radiant forms.
As Parvati gathers him into her embrace, the six become one—yet remain many—symbolizing unity within multiplicity. Her gaze is not merely maternal; it is the awakening of Shakti.

This moment, as told in the Skanda Purana, is not just the meeting of mother and child, but the convergence of Shakti and Shiva, manifesting as divine purpose—Skanda, the warrior of light.🙏🏻

Bhakti beyond the boundaries 🙏🏻
I tried to illustrate Kanakadasaru’s love for Krishna. His divine compositions are a great inspiration for everyone 🙏🏻

Kanakadasa was a 16th-century philosopher, poet, and devotee of Krishna, known for his profound compositions in Kannada that emphasized equality, humility, and unwavering bhakti. Born into a warrior community, he renounced worldly life to become a saint, using simple yet powerful poetry to challenge social barriers and express deep spiritual truths. His songs continue to inspire devotion and remind us that sincere love for the divine transcends all distinctions.

“Do Not Leave Me, Rama”🙏

In the life of Tyagaraja Swamy, devotion to Lord Rama was not ritual—it was his breath itself.
Sharing a special moment of Bhakti 🙏
Tyagaraja Swamy saw Rama as a living presence, worshipping a small idol with unwavering faith, his music flowing straight from his soul. But this devotion was not understood by all. His brother, unable to see the depth of this bond, cast his beloved idol into the flowing waters of the Kaveri River.

The loss shattered Tyagaraja Swamy. His kritis became cries of separation, soaked in bhakti. Guided by a divine dream, he went to the riverbanks. There, amidst the gentle flow of the Kaveri, he found his Rama once again—as if the Lord had returned, not from the waters, but from within his own heart.

This moment is not just about the recovery of an idol—it is the realization that true devotion cannot be lost, taken, or destroyed. What is held in divine love always finds its way back.🙏

Celebrating Tyagaraja Swamy Jayanthi Today. 🙏

Prahlada Varada Narasimha.
Blessed Narasimha Jayanthi 🙏

Bhakti Calms the Lord. This is my humble attempt to illustrate a divine moment from the Bhagavata Purana.

After destroying the demon king Hiranyakashipu, Lord Narasimha was still filled with intense anger. His roar shook the worlds.
His presence was fierce and unbearable. The Gods trembled. Even Lord Brahma and Lord Shiva did not dare to approach him.
The whole universe stood still.
Then came Maa Lakshmi , the embodiment of grace. Yet even she paused, seeing this form of uncontained cosmic fury.

She turned to the one who had no fear—the young devotee Prahalada.
Gently, Maa Lakshmi brought Prahalada forward. The child walked up to the Lord, folded his hands, and prayed with pure love.
Slowly, Lord Narasimha’s anger faded. He lifted Prahalada onto his lap—the same lap that had just destroyed evil—and held him with tenderness. The fierce form softened, and divine compassion flowed once again.
In that sacred embrace, the universe found peace. This shows the power of Bhakti …for it was not power, nor penance, not even divinity itself…
but pure devotion, Bhakti of the little child that calmed the storm.
