During an interview, Amanda was asked, where did the idea come from? She replied;
“I was pondering the concept of love and realized that it had evolved. Cupid and the perfectly shaped red heart that we all associate with love had changed. I saw people experiencing a modern love, a love that has many layers; some good and some bad. A love that captures you like a beast and depending on its nature
will love or hate you its own way. Out of my thoughts came “Love Is A Beast” the first portfolio form The Modern Heart Collection. When I started creating pieces for the Love is A Beast Collection, I was inspired to paint every emotion that a heart might feel. Just like a human heart, each eclectic shaped heart in my portfolio is unique and truly one of a kind. There is no one piece in the collection that is the same or even similar”. That statement is truly reflected in each eclectic shaped heart. Each one-of-a-kind piece is created using acrylic, charcoal, spray paint, and pencil on stretched canvas or wood. Amanda has always had a love of abstract art and her passion is reflected in her unique collection. The newest addition to The Modern Heart Collection is the “Love Is Love” portfolio.
