Outside the Box, an event of PlacerArts Show & Silent Auction begins Tues., Jan. 7 at The Arts Building - Auburn ; Gala & Live Art Auction Fri., Jan. 31 at the Blue Goose Event Center - Loomis

Here’s how it works…
* Raw, wooden boxes are distributed to 100 artists
* Artists have two months to create a work of art
* The only rules are that the art must fit through the front door of The Arts Building, and be ready to hang or stand on its own
* ‘Box Art’ is on silent auction from teh April Auburn Art Walk until the date of the Live Auction Gala
* Net proceeds support PlacerArts' public programs
