Hey y'all!
I hope you’re all doing well! Not many of you know, but I’m hanging up my graphic design and web design hat and diving into UX Design! I graduate in December, and while I like to say graduation is the beginning of a new chapter, I still have a long way to go. Of course, I had to pick one of the most competitive design fields out there! 😅
I’m on the lookout for ways to jumpstart my career and build experience. I’d love to connect with anyone in the UX Design community or anyone who knows of groups or resources that could help me out.
I’m eager to tackle a variety of design challenges, collaborate with non-profit agencies for hands-on experience, and get feedback on my portfolio and case studies. I’m also looking for mentorship opportunities, project collaborations, and freelance gigs to gain real-world experience. If anyone has insights on job shadowing or portfolio reviews, I’d really appreciate that, too!
I’d also like to run some practice interviews to learn the "S.T.A.R." method. If you have any connections or advice, I’d really appreciate it!
