So thankful to be apart of this two day event with in celebration at the Malcolm X and Betty Shabazz Center in Harlem. I created a live painting last night for the release of Dr. Ilyasah’s newest book titled: Malcolm In The Desert. A look at Malcolm’s transformation after his international journey across seas and to Mecca. We celebrated the 101 birthday of a great leader Malcolm X. I am so honored that I was able to share the room with such royalty.

Thankful for this past Tuesday! I was able to met, learn and grow from spending time with these legendary artist and sculptors. Ed Dwight an international monumental sculpture, gave insight on life and lessons. He was the first African American that was set to go to space during president Kennedy’s time in office. is a masterful and phenomenal artist and person. I grow every time I am around him. two amazing artists that are trailblazing new paths in the art world and who has sown into the lives of countless Black artists, for the love of collecting history. I am thankful to get to spend this time with you all.
