E.O. Austin Home/Historical Society Our goal is to preserve our own town's history - past, present, and future. The E.O. Each one with a different story and history all their own.

Austin Home/Historical Society was founded in 2001, and opened to the public on September 25, 2005. Austin Home is a museum dedicated to the history of Austin and the surrounding areas. You can learn more about the history of; The1911 Austin flood, health care, logging and farming, our military, and many other areas. Our two story museum houses over 1,700 square feet and is comprised of thousands

of artifacts. Our museum features a wide variety of displays including:

*Church Display
*Community Band Exhibit
*Community House Display
*Merchants' Memory Lane
*Doctors' Office Display
