I have an exhibition opening on Friday, May 24th at Charlotte Street Foundation in Kansas City called "Read the Room," featuring over twenty regional comic artists. We're really excited to show all of these wildly different approaches to the medium. Curated by Will Cardini, Jason Lips, Thayer Bray, and myself.

Read the Room is a group exhibition of more than 20 local and regional artists who are expanding the outer limits of comics as an expressive and experimental medium.

Like so much by the Austin collective Okay Mountain, “Roadside Attractions” — a 2012 installation recently acquired by the Blanton Museum of Art — is a deft fusion of artistic irreverence and pop culture homage, of hand-made DIY craftiness and exquisite attention to detail.
