Our 2026 Journal is being put together and readied for mailing out to our members. This one is dedicated to Emma Jane McGill Fry and includes some McGill family history, also a great story about Peggy McLerran and her clogging groups, and an article about the EARLY Doctors of Douglas County.
If you are not a member, these will be available at the museum. But PLEASE consider becoming a member of the historical society!

This year we will be raffling this queen size quilt that was embroidered and pieced by Sally Hicks and quilted by Sharon Sanders. Tickets are $1 or 6 for $5. The quilt will be given away in August at our Annual Open House. This was the last quilt that Sharon quilted before she passed away and has sentimental value for us.
You can come by on Saturdays 10-2 to look it over and buy some chances.
