This February, we invite you to experience 𝙃𝙚𝙖𝙧𝙩 & 𝙎𝙤𝙪𝙡, a curated spotlight that brings together two powerful forces: love and identity, expressed through contemporary urban art.
Set against our bold graffiti spotlight wall, Heart & Soul unfolds as a visual conversation, one that explores both intimacy and self-expression through a shared, modern visual language.
On one side, 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐭 presents Valentine-inspired works that explore love, emotion, and human connection through color, gesture, and form. This selection includes works by Andy Warhol, Pablo Picasso, Peter Max, Mr. Brainwash, Hijak, Martin Whatson, Mark Drew, Kai, Chris RWK, and Gnieve Figgis, where romance and intimacy are expressed through a contemporary visual lens.
On the other, 𝐒𝐨𝐮𝐥 highlights compelling works by Black artists whose practices center identity, imagination, cultural narrative, and resilience. Featured artists include Futura 2000, Hebru Brantley, Kayla Mahaffey, Ishmael Armarh, Simphiwe Ndzube, Doze Green, Marcus Brutus, Purvis Young, Marcus Jamesen, and Ayobola Kekere-Ekun, offering powerful expressions of selfhood and lived experience.
Though the themes diverge, the energy remains unified. Anchored by the graffiti wall, the installation presents a cohesive moment where love and identity coexist bold, expressive, and unapologetically contemporary.
𝙃𝙚𝙖𝙧𝙩 & 𝙎𝙤𝙪𝙡 will be on view throughout February at Gallery Art’s 8,000-square-foot showroom in Aventura, Florida. Private-sale pricing is available upon request.
