A wonderful day was had by all last Sunday at our annual Volunteer Appreciation Day. Here are pics of two of our award winners, Chalmers and Bonnie!

The Tuesday Work Crew is doing some great work again replacing the white picket fence that denotes our property line. We have a small group of dedicated volunteers with various talents, but we can ALWAYS use more help. Come on out and spend some time with us- you will not regret it!

Robert Moorefield is on the left in this photo. He was the only keeper at Point San Luis to occupy all three positions with the Lighthouse Service as 2nd assistant keeper, 1st assistant, and Head Keeper. He went on to serve as Keeper with the Coast Guard when they took over the running of lighthouses in 1939. If anyone can identify the others in this photo, please let us know!
