Our walls are freshly painted. The new “focus 3D wave wall” is just about complete and I have the show roughly laid out.

Up next- final installation, lighting and a group meeting with our staff to share the show and backgrounds of our artists so they can answer any questions, not only this F1RST FRIDAY but for the duration of the show. (A great idea from our Exec Jeanette Richardson)

More pix and some video interviews with a couple of artists in the show coming up tomorrow.

The last pic is the crew pouring the new curbs and gutters out front of the gallery this morning. We are grateful for them getting this done before Friday!

Gallery prep underway to be ready to install the new show. All the walls (other than the east brick wall) are ready to be painted. The color? An ultra pure white with an eggshell finish. I’ve found over the years that this color and finish are the perfect combination to make the art “pop”.

Very excited to have our beautiful new lighting for the show too!
