It was an honor to be out at Riverwalk Park for Memorial Day alongside so many members of our community. 🇺🇸

We saw veterans, families, friends, and supporters all come together to honor those who served and remember the heroes who gave their lives for our country. The support and smiles throughout the day reminded us how important it is to continue sharing these stories and keeping their memories alive.

Here are some photos from our booth, the event, and the amazing people who came out to show their respect and support. Thank you, Bakersfield, for standing with us this Memorial Day.

Today at Riverwalk Park during the Memorial Day ceremony, we spoke about the heroes from Kern County who gave their lives for our country. 🇺🇸

Jeff Salters, President of the Portrait of a Warrior Gallery, introduced everyone and read the names of our fallen heroes followed by a moment of silence to honor and remember them.

We were also deeply moved by Gold Star Mother Maria Garcia, who spoke about her son, Alberto Garcia. Her words carried raw emotion, love, and heartbreak. Nothing is more painful than losing a child, and today we honor both her strength and the sacrifice her son made for our country.

These moments remind us why we continue to preserve these stories and honor our heroes every single day.

This weekend we had the incredible honor of bringing the portraits of our 27 heroes out to the and riding around the track alongside the cars and race cars during a special tribute honoring our veterans and fallen heroes.

Having veterans from our group there to take part in such a meaningful moment made it even more special. Seeing the portraits carried around the track in front of the crowd was a powerful reminder that these heroes will never be forgotten.

Thank you to everyone involved for helping honor those who gave everything for our freedom. 🇺🇸🏁
