10 years ago, if you would’ve told me I’d one day become a artist, I probably would’ve laughed at you. I was a guy out on oil rigs slapping pipe, working long days with dirty hands and no idea that one random decision to pick up a paintbrush would completely change my life.

From that moment on, the rest became history.

Over the last decade, I’ve had the opportunity to paint and work with some incredible people. Rappers, NFL players, Fanatics, successful business owners, and people who trusted me with their ideas and visions. My artwork has ended up in places I never imagined possible. Selling artwork in all 50 states within just two years was something I once thought was impossible, and being able to ship artwork to 9 different countries still blows my mind to this day.

But what’s crazy is that as I celebrate this 10-year anniversary, I feel the same fire I felt when I first picked up that brush… except now it’s aimed toward something new.

Over the last several months, I’ve spent a lot of time fishing with my son. Early mornings, late evenings, long talks, laughs, memories… and somewhere during those moments, a simple idea came to mind. That idea slowly turned into a passion.
bond

What started as a love for fishing and spending quality time with family has now become a lifestyle brand centered around fishing, design, and timeless merchandise. A brand built around the moments that actually matter. The memories made on the water, the stories passed down, and the bond created through it all.

I never imagined I’d be celebrating 10 years in business while simultaneously building another one from the ground up. Painting will always be part of who I am, and I fully intend to continue creating art. But this year, painting may take a bit of a backseat while I pour everything I’ve got into building Reel Bond.

And honestly… I couldn’t be more excited.

With the same drive, mindset, and obsession that got me here, I know Reel Bond is going to grow into something special. Not just another fishing brand, but something timeless. Something that creates memories, brings people together, and means something to the people who wear it.

Uncle Snoop Dogg commission. 30x40”. Had fun with this one. Had the idea at the end to turn the edges into a blue bandana design. Love the way it came out and the added touch it gives it. Background says “What’s my m***a f****n’ name?” Still a G thang!

Had fun with this Darc Sport logo. Sometimes certain logos just call me to paint. Lol. Glad I ran with this idea and added all the lighting. I have a video of the whole paint process that I’ll post too. This one is 48x48”. Love how the mini LED in the wolf’s eyeball adds a small, but big touch to it! *SOLD*

Some St. Patrick’s day decor fun. I wanted to do a handful of childhood characters, but add a little “adult” twist to them by adding some green beer. Obviously it isn’t St. Pat’s day without green….beer! These are 16x20” so they’re perfect for some simple decor in any room. All available.

“King Kong ain’t got 💩 on me!” - Denzel. Lol. Another idea that’s been on a lengthy list of Things to Paint. 24”x36”, but definitely want to run something bigger after doing this one. Icing out the grill is always a 🤌🏽 touch. I don’t have any commissions at the moment and happy to be painting stuff just to showcase my ideas and style. Holler if interested in this or something else!

Finally painted one of my many ideas from a lengthy list: 24x36” canvas of King Kong rocking an iced-out grill. Had a blast bringing this one to life—always wanted to capture that vibe. Grateful it’s out in the world now. 🎨🦍✨
