We were honored to witness and learn from about her journey as an artist, how others can maintain their practices, and to also be able to celebrate her belated birthday! 🎉

Some key elements we discussed involved her "why" in creating art, being art, and being an artist. That there would be no breathing without art and that it is useful for artists to do many things to stay engaged and inspired.

Not only did we learn some logistics behind artistic careers but also the time consuming diligence in working with indigo. As strives to make sure that conversation includes Africa she reminds us also that when we remember the beauty of this patchwork we call life, you keep going.💙

Thank you all so much for attending and thank you again for your wisdom! Be sure to visit her website: KibibiAjanku.com and RSVP to the next one!🥳🙌🏾

Stay tuned for our next opening reception: STEM to Studio this Saturday Nov 1st
