Bar Harbor Historical Society is grateful to the Maine Community Foundation for their generous continued support. Grants from the Belvedere and True Funds make it possible for us to host a wide variety of community programing this summer. History, literature, and arts come alive at BHHS, and thanks to this support, are mostly free and open to the public.

Additionally, this financial support has and continues to underpin the growth in our exhibits and programing. Our new logo includes Culture, History, & Community, refining our commitment to the people of Bar Harbor and visitors from everywhere. We invite you to brave the traffic and visit- the view from the piazza is worth the trip!
