Today, October 18, is National Speak Up for Victims of Sexual Abuse Day. 💜 A day to raise our voices, stand with survivors, and remind those who have been hurt that they do not have to face it alone.

Whether you are a survivor, know someone who has experienced abuse, or simply want survivors to know they have people standing beside them, please know this: you are not alone. You deserve to feel safe, supported, and heard without judgment. And if you ever need a safe space, our door is open. 💜

A limited number of “I Am Jane Doe” shirts have arrived at The Blu Door! Available for $20, with a portion of sales donated to a local organization supporting survivors of abuse.

We believe in speaking up, showing up, and standing beside those who need to know someone is in their corner.

🐙 HAPPY WORLD OCTOPUS DAY! 🐙

Here’s a few fun facts about octopuses that you may or may not already know! 👀

❤️ Octopuses have THREE hearts!

🧠 They have NINE brains. One central brain and one smaller brain like cluster of neurons in each arm. (And yes, arms, not tentacles!)

🦴 Unlike this adorable festive skelly octopus from Sajtar Signatures, real octopuses have NO BONES! That means if their beak can fit through an opening, the rest of them can squeeze through too. 😳

🎨 They can change their color AND texture to camouflage themselves, communicate, or even scare off predators.

🧩 And they’re seriously smart! Octopuses can solve puzzles, open containers, learn from experience and figure out how to get what they want.

Basically… octopuses are tiny, boneless, three-hearted ocean geniuses. 😂🐙💙
