In honor of World Bicycle Day, today we wanted to show you all a fantastic example of a historic bicycle! This is a bicycle manufactured by the National Cycle Manufacturing Company, a company started in 1892 by Henry B. Smith. The National Cycle Manufacturing Company produced and sold bicycles across all of the United States, championing the slogan "A National Rider Never Changes His Mount." This bicycle was produced during approximately the 1890s, but the metal bicycle tax stamp on it shows that it was in use for much longer, at least until the 1940s.
