Valentines for Veterans ❤️🇺🇸💌

What a wonderful event! Everyone in attendance made an estimated 2,000 valentines for Veterans in need.

Pictured is USMC John Scafidi, meeting one of the kids, and taking a picture with everyone in attendance! They were so excited that a real veteran was there and John was able to shed some insight and charm!!

Today we welcomed back the Bailey Eagles!

Commander Glen J. Flora, Former Mayor Richard Rutkowski, and Vietnam Veteran John Scafidi give Teacher Ms Garrido and the students an extensive educational experience.

They learned about how our Veterans made sacrifices for all to enjoy the freedoms we have today. They saw so many interesting artifacts and mannequins from all the different wars and conflicts.

Students had many questions which were answered by our veterans!

We truly enjoyed our class of Bailey Eagles! Thank you for this exciting day at the WWI Veterans Museum! We appreciate your generous support! 🇺🇸
