The Bedias Library has received this message from Holland. Can anyone help answer these questions? * * * Dear Sir or Madam,

Please assist me with the following.

I am from Holland and have an interest in the US soldiers who fought for our freedom during WW2.
I am seeking for a picture of Aubrey A. Solomon.

Enlisted 25 April 1944.

Born 1 November 1913 in Bedias, TX, died 5 December 1985.

He went to highschool for 2 years.

One of his brothers (Melvin) was KIA in 1945 and is buried in US Military Cemetery in Margraten in Holland.

Perhaps there was a picture in a newspaper or yearbook?

Can you please help me?

I already checked Ancestry.

Daniel Reider's Funeral will be held in the chapel of the Madisonville Funeral Home on Thursday, September 10, 2026, at 10 A.M. followed by burial in the Pankey Cemetery.
Afterwards there is a potluck meal at the Bedias Civic Center.
Visitation will take place the evening before on Wednesday, September 9, 2026, at the funeral home from 5 P.M. till 7 P.M.
