KevsKrafts is a home based business, located in rural Bellevue, MI where I design, cut, and finish beautiful home decor woodworking pieces. Every piece that I produce is hand cut on a DeWalt 788 scroll saw. Most all of the pieces that I saw are cut from 1/4" solid soft or hardwoods and are finished with a Natural Danish Oil to bring out the natural beauty of the wood used. All of my pieces are made from natural wood colors..

I’ve been pretty quiet on my page here so I’ll post this. I’ve been busy learning new machines and or techniques as well as putting some focus on new products that I’m currently testing and trying. Maybe if they work out I’ll have new products to offer.

One thing I’ve always wanted to try is carving so I gave it a try yesterday. After one failed attempt and breaking a $100 carving tool, and making a scrap pile big enough for a bonfire I think I finally got a resemblance of a cross with a dove. Far from perfect but here is a photo. Now to try it again on a nice piece of walnut or cherry and put a little more effort into sanding and finishing.
