These paintings (as well as a painting not pictured) will be on display at the National Mounted Warriors Museum opening on 19 October 2024.
While I can’t attend the opening because I am painting with the Outdoor Painting Society in Kerrville, TX for the week.
If you are near Ft Cavazos, TX come see the show and the new museum dedicated to the mounted Warrior.

Getting ready to paint every day in Kerrville. Less than 10 days away we will be in Kerrville, TX for a Plein Air Competition. Kerrville is a really great host of that event, one for which I really enjoyed last year.

Got out to Rogers, TX to paint before the sun goes down. Maybe in the high 90s. Only two hours of work tonight. Lots of good repetitions in the composition. I certainly will make some clean strokes on this when it dries. Thanks to Susan Sterle for setting up the paint out.
