The BAMPFA Student Committee works to connect UC Berkeley students to BAMPFA.

The BAMPFA Student Committee works to connect students and the BAMPFA through outreach and events aimed at all parts of the student community. Each year, the Committee’s activities range from small film screenings, to spectacular multimedia parties for up to 2,000 students. The Committee also performs an important role advocating for students’ interests within the Museum and Archive. Committee mem

bers are represented on a number of BAMPFA committees including the Board of Trustees, and provide guidance when it comes to gearing BAMPFA programs to student audiences.

💥The BAMPFA Student Committee is accepting submissions for our 2024 Film Fest💥 This annual film festival at BAMPFA celebrates Bay Area student filmmakers. 🎬 All Bay Area students are eligible to apply. Submissions must be 15 minutes or less and made within the last two years. Each student may submit up to 2 short films. 📽
