This Saturday, June 20th, the Bethel Historical Museum is presenting a FREE, FUN history lesson for children of all ages!

Join us and learn about the Boston Tea Party and more!

This is the sixth in the series, and if you were unable to attend the others or missed one, we have materials for you to take home!

This is a great event to help your children learn more, and have a reason to be proud of our nations history.

PLEASE join us! It is continuous all afternoon between 1 and 4PM, so stop in anytime!

You will also be able to tour the museum and see the new displays and galleries.

Wilbur Simcox was Bethel's night watchman, for twenty-eight years. He.walked the business district, checking doors and watching for break-ins or fires. He also helped anyone in need, giving directions to the lost or obtaining gas for stranded motorists.

Today's the day! See you at the square and don't forget to come inside to visit!

PLEASE help us out! Share this with everyone.

IF you or anyone you know is going to be in the Great Bethel America 250 parade on July 11th, PLEASE complete the enclosed form and send it in NOW.

Terry Holland is working diligently to get all these required participant forms in well ahead of the event.

You know how it is, you don’t want to wait until the last minute.

Let’s get this done NOW and get it off your to-do list and off his many faceted tasks that have to be completed.

This is going to be a BIG parade!

If it’s a group, ALL participants have to have a waiver form signed.

So even if you plan to be there but at the last minute are not able to, just get this signed now and turn it in. Then it’s off your plate too!

MINORS need a parent signature also. This is important if you plan to drop your child at the staging area.

They will not be able to be in the parade without this form signed ahead of time.

So, I’m sending out this plea for early registration.

We appreciate your assistance.

Feel free to drop them at the museum this Saturday when we are open from 9-4pm for Antiques on the Square!!

We will have blank ones printed for you to sign at the museum if needed.

I will get them to Terry. JOIN US!!

Thank you so much!

In The Good Old Summertime. The posting today comes from a wonderful collection of photos that belonged to Ellen Town White.

The back of the picture says,, "Rebecka's picnic at Bantam, 1903." More than likely this was at the Bantam Fairgrounds.
