It’s a pottery wonderland at the Studio!

Once again, Josh and Martha have been hard at work making pottery of all kinds for our 8th annual Holiday Pottery Show. The show opens today and will continue for the next three weeks. We will be open daily from 10 am - 6 pm right up to Christmas.

We transformed the classroom into a giant holiday showroom. Martha has some lovely new wheel thrown ornaments reminiscent of retro Christmas balls, and Josh has all your favorite functional pottery plus some new earring holders and stemless wine cups that he’s excited about. Our studio assistant Sophie List also has a great selection of pots available, including some fantastic cowboy frog spoon rests.

Drop-in ornament making has become a local tradition for young and old. We’ll have ornament making available every day through December 21. No appointment needed. They are $8 each and will be ready for pick up within a week of making. Bring the whole family to make and decorate a personalized ornament. Suitable for all skill levels.

Leaf Impression Bowls – Hand-built Pottery Class
Created by nature and captured in clay by you. In this one-day hand-building course, you will create your own unique leaf impression bowl using leaves from plants in the garden or trees in your yard. Press the leaf into a clay slab to leave a detailed impression and then form it into a bowl or tray for a one-of-a-kind creation. Your finished project will be microwave and dishwasher safe and glazed in your choice of color. It will be ready for pick-up approximately
two weeks after class. No previous clay experience is required for this class. All tools and supplies will be provided by the clay studio.

It's that time of year when we transform the pottery studio into a giant holiday sales gallery. We will be open December 7 - 23, 10am - 6pm daily. We have been hard at work and have lots of new pots available. There is something for everyone: lots of mugs, spoon rests, serving bowls, sponge holders, and decorative Christmas trees. Our studio assistants, Emma Andrew and Sophie List will also have a selection of pots available. We're also doing drop-in ornament making every day through December 20. No appointment needed. They are $8 each and will be ready for pick up by 12/23. Bring the whole family to make and decorate a personalized ornament. Suitable for all skill levels. Emmatpottery
