I want to introduce you to Jamie Hansen. Jamie was a Provincetown fixture and though he died nearly twenty years ago he is still remembered by many friends there. Jamie was an extraordinary artist weaving together tribal imagery as commentary on human tribal behaviors. More than ever, Hansen’s works from the Saltimbanques portfolio speaks an essential message—but does so with such humor and beauty that it feels not at all preachy.
